SMX is seeking an Operations Integrator Subject Matter Expert. This position will provide forward support to C6ISR operations within the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). This position will integrate future planning into operational execution as part of a cohesive element delivering all domain capability. This role will collaborate across senior external roles, leveraging expertise within the AOR, to facilitate engagement development with regional mission partner country teams to continuously enhance mission capability and end-customer support. Additionally, this individual will support advisory and assessment against defense cooperation avenues of execution and processes.

This position requires a TS/SCI clearance which requires US citizenship for work on a DoD contract.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support work with US interagency and DoD working groups, conferences, and engagements

  • Assists in the integration of operational requirements within regional and international domain execution

  • Provides advisory and roadmap development for identifying & enhancing pathways to improve timeliness and effectiveness of future collaboration requirements

  • Conduct identified Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) and Defense Attaché Office (DAO) engagement and future planning sessions

  • Provide executive-level information papers; position papers; briefings; and talking points regarding US government Security Cooperation efforts

  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to adapt to required directives, accommodating requests for surge support

  • Support facilitation of operations access execution for program platforms and personnel

  • Support periodic regional travel to partner nations in theater AOR and Hawaii based planning sessions, as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Required Clearance: TS/SCI

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in combination with four (4) years experience working Foreign Attaché Duties (FAO) in DAO/ODC

  • Ten (10) years of combined Joint, Interagency, or regional experience in planning and execution of military operations

  • Valid USA passport

  • Experience in the INDOPACOM AOR

  • Experience in a Joint Staff environment

  • Experience in writing strategic documents to include executive-level information papers and security cooperation program development

  • Expert in use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams among others

  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and in written format, for briefing and presentation delivery to internal and external stakeholders, including high level government customers

  • Proven ability to deliver products and respond to RFIs on time and with utmost quality with minimal rework

  • Capacity to take initiative and work independently

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and interface with disparate government customers and requirement holders to accomplish program objectives

  • Demonstrated proficiency communicating observations, recommendations, and findings clearly and concisely to leadership

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Assignment and/or extensive experience working with one or multiple INDOPACOM Defense Attaché Office / Office of Defense Cooperation / Pacific Augmentation Team

  • 8+ years’ experience in the INDOPACOM AOR

  • Familiarity or experience with US foreign policy in the INDOPACOM AOR

  • Prefer an individual with experience in the subject country
